Sally is pregnant, and yet Billy is not a good father to his own kids. Is this situation to make him a better man in every aspect of his life?

On The Young and the Restless, April 20, Billy learns that Sally’s pregnant. Y&R fans are already concerned about Sally’s pregnancy storyline. When Sally was last pregnant, she suffered a difficult pregnancy, which resulted in Ava’s death. And Billy is not a good father, as the viewers already know. So, will this pregnancy news change Billy’s life?
Once Again, Billy Places His Bets
The Gambler claims that he’s changed, but has he really? Sally (Courtney Hope) last told Audra (Zuleyka Silver) that she had to tell Billy (Jason Thompson) the news as soon as possible. She found out that she was pregnant with his child. The couple had just reconciled after their latest fight.
Sally shared the news at their apartment. Billy wanted to know how she was feeling. Sally appreciated how attentive he was being. This was a side of Billy she rarely saw.
But Sally needed to know something. She wanted to know if Billy wanted to be in this situation with her. To Billy, this was another gambling opportunity. He admitted that he was all in.

For some reason, Sally thought Billy was caring and sweet toward his kids. However, he’s not necessarily a good father.
Could Billy Change For the Better?
Billy has had many chances to become a better man. He already has two kids, Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie (Sienna Mercuri), with his ex-wife, Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He claims to love his kids, and Sally believes that.

But he’s also used his kids in his ongoing feud with Victoria. That doesn’t make him a stand-up dad. Sally and Billy have broken up multiple times already due to his reckless ways. What Sally doesn’t realize is that in the future, Billy might use their baby against them every time he does something stupid.
Could it be different this time around? Sally has been desperately trying to keep Billy accountable, especially regarding his obsession with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Chancellor Industries.
He claims that he’s changed, but he hasn’t proven it yet. Will Sally’s baby give Billy the chance to start anew and become a better man? Will he learn from his past mistakes and not repeat them? There has to be a reason why a baby is bringing them together.
